Disney Is Effing With Me, Some Not So Tragic News, and They Tried To Warn You...

(the subject line of this email reads: "Get The Best Mickey For Your Kitchen From Disney Parks")

What the Eff, Disney?

Are you reading my blog?

Are you just taunting me?

Did you steal my idea of Mickey in the kitchen?

Granted, yours are products with your iconic rodent’s likeness, while mine was just a dead Mickey in a trap in my kitchen, but still.

I’m claiming that is copyright infringement on your part.

Also in the news…

Much like his career 20 years ago, Corey Haim has been found dead.

Let that be a lesson to all you kids.

Acting kills!

Especially when mixed with 8-balls of coke and meth.

And am I the only one that feels Toyota’s new slogan is ironic?

I mean, it’s not like they weren’t trying to warn people.

Hell, look at that last one. It’s even showing you skid marks from some poor shmuck trying to get his to stop.

The only way they could have made it more obvious was by adding either, “Uncontrollably”, or “Without Warning”.

Should of bought a Honda.

I am so sad about Corey Haim!! I thought I was going to marry him someday, and then of course I thought I would cheat on him with Corey Feldeman.

and ahhh the prius. I'm surprised it wasn't a Ford...

MJenks said...

Maybe their motto should be "American-built Toyotas...moving forward at a break-neck pace!"

If you couldn't tell the Toyota Prius was a death trap just by looking at it, well I just can't help you.

Acting kills - hahahhaaaa

Am I the only one who thinks the Toyota problem isn't the problem? The driver is the problem.

If your Toyota suddenly accelerates and you can't stop it...put the fucker in NEURTAL and press the breaks. Car stops, engine revs, no damage to others.

You're welcome.

I'll stick with my F150.

I been saying the same thing as Coffey. People just can't drive. You can pop that bitch in neutral. Easy Peasy. Even if you have to slam it.

Crazy people.

Haim? Just sad....sad...sad...sad!

Thanks for showing us Toyota's skid marks and not yours....

I was actually pretty close to buying a Camry before I decided to buy my awesomely masculine, magenta Jetta

I would sue Disney...deep pockets. Just slip them a Mickey and run...

By now your deathtrap should have worked...maybe you should get a cat. The suspense is killing me. Carnage...we want to see carnage.

And Toyota...buy American...they're more expensive, gas guzzlers, and fall apart but they don't kill...yet...that's all I have to say about that. Something tells me similar to your mouse traps.

Momma Fargo said...

Oh, yeah...and Corey Haim...whodathunk if you put coke up your nose...

Momma Fargo said...

And I think I am as dumb as Corey Haim...because I just saw your Godzilla mouse video...and my comments you can delete...

Oh Corey Haim. I had such a crush on him back in the day. And then he got all coked out and not nearly so attractive.

I want a Mickey in my kitchen. Of good whiskey. Mmm.

I'd take a randomly accelerating Sienna over my Caravan any day.

LOL about the Toyota Slogan hahaha

Ed, you are a man. You won't understand my case of the sads when it comes to Corey Haims death today. I blogged about it if you care to try and understand. He was only 38...so messed up =(

Alison said...

yeah the Toyota thing is just nuts....I am a woman driver and I even know to just disengage the transmission and the car will stop....DUH

Drugs Kill...Just ask Corey.

Melissa said...

Hey hey hey...I drive a 2009 Toyota Corolla...and I'm scared every day! Take it in next week to get it fixed.
Heard about Corey today, can't say I was surprised, I mean w/ the drugs and all...it'll eventually catch up.
You should totally go after Disney for stealing your idea!

In the Celebrity OD Betting Pool I picked Feldman to go before Haim.

Crap! I left that "Zach" comment a minute ago. My kiddo was still signed in on my laptop. Sorry!

Read your comment on my blog and came over to see what you were up to. Only now did I finally get your Gene Simmons comment. Yeah...I'm lame like that. But now I'm giggling. Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE with Charisse. Yeah...don't tell her I said that. I had to do a Google search to remember who Corey was. That's sad too! I'm getting really old. Holly

Moving Forward...Way Too Fast

ScoMan said...

Corey who?

You should sue Disney. They have lots of cash and will probably settle out of court.

And then counter sue you for using the name Mickey for your mouse.

Should HAVE bought a Honda.

Not 'Should OF bought a Honda.'

Bad grammar kills, too, Ed.

Bad grammar kills, too.

When I was a younger girl I so wanted to have Corey Haim's babies. I may or may have written Kim Haim on notebooks. Who knows? I'll never tell.

Toyota, moving forward = me snorting an Herbalife shake out of my nose. Job well done.

Forgotten said...

Toyota...moving forward...unintentionally.

And if my hair looked like his does in that picture I'd be snorting Coke, too. Sheesh. That is just scary.

Tgoette said...

The Toyota logo with "skid marks" is just too funny! But I agree that the car is not to blame, just the dumb shit drivers who haven't a clue how to cope. Corey Haim's death is no big loss. He's just another dead celebrity with no concept of his own irrelevance.

Toyota....moving forward.....so you don't have to.
hahahaha

Yes, call a lawyer. Tell Disney that 100 million would help ease the pain.

Poor Corey.

I drive a Toyota. If it happened to me, I would either put the gear into neutral or turn the engine off.....instead of panicking like they do.

- so 8-balls of coke and meth NOT mixed with acting are good, then, right?! Whew.

- LMAO at Toyota!

Serenityville said...

That's hilarious. I just bought a new Corolla so have been following Toyota's...path...quite closely. NEVER NOTICED. Thanks for pointing it out.

Disney tried to eff with me once too. They made it sound like freaking rainbows and sunshine all the time, and it so rained more than once when we were there. Nice, eh?

As for Toyota, one word. Idiots.

And poor little Corey. Apparently, his mother told the press that Toronto was going to pay for his funeral. NOT!
